I am writing in support of proposed Section 508 E205.1. Replacing the current unique standard that Section 508 uses with a worldwide standard, WCAG 2.0 Level A and Level AA will allow the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA) to be more efficient as we will be able to make use of a broad range of supporting tools which are specifically tuned to WCAG 2.0, including automated checking for compliance on selected requirements. WCAG 2.0 also incorporates a large quantity of educational materials which reduce ambiguity, allowing the SFMTA to produce more consistent information for our customers.
