Oil Shale Management--General

The draft oil shale regulations are a good step to move America’s oil shale industry forward. They are also a positive step to help increase America’s energy security. I know you’ve caught some flak from some of the more liberal senators about moving too quickly. Which is nothing but a bunch of bologna. You were mandated more than two years ago to do these regulations. And putting in regulations now won’t cause this immediate boom of development. You’ve got a whole process that calls for site specific NEPA analysis. And that process takes years!! Don’t heed the folks that are calling for slowing down the process. You are going at the right speed. Thank you for your consideration of my comments.
