I have two concerns with hydraulic fracturing on public and Indian land. The first concern is the safety of the people. Hydraulic fracturing has had in the past some environmental harazds which included ground water contamination and the risk of air quality. Ensuring the safety of the people is top priority. My second concern is the information provided to the people. Historically Indians has always received negative impacts of governmental tactics. Indians need to be included in the decision making process if the proposal passes about their natural resources.
