We support greater production of renewable energy, and the efficient move to producing more renewables. However, we are concerned about the environmental impacts of streamlining the process and would request an Environmental Assessment regardless of BOEMRE's categorical exclusion. We believe there are significant environmental impacts to energy production on the OCS, regardless of the net benefit from renewable energy.
