My name is Tyler Schroeder and I am a student at the Minnesota School of Business, paralegal program. Our assignment was to find a proposed rule by an agency we found interesting and comment on that rule. I have chosen this proposed rule because I agree with what this rule is trying to accomplish. It is important that the list of Biological Agents and Toxins be updated and so we are not focusing on agents or toxins that have less risk to the public safety and more time on those agents or toxins that can really cripple our country. One part that I really thought was great was where it talked about creating a standard of who was allowed to have contact with the biological agents and toxins because this will allow less chance of someone accidentally bringing this agent in contact with other people. I really hope this rule gets passed because it is important to help maintain the public health and security against these agents and toxins that can cause harm to the public.
