Yes, cancer should, without a doubt be added to the WTC Health Program!!! So many of our first responders who rushed down to ground zero on Sept. 11, 2001, my husband included, have come down with cancer. My husband was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer in February of 2011. After, 16 months of grueling chemo therapy and several months of radiation, the Dr.'s have advised the family that there is no sence in continuing with the chemo as it is not helping and the cancer continues to spread. My husband drove a van full of police officers down to ground zero back in 2001 on the dreadful day without thinking twice, so please, I beg you, stop thinking about whether or not to add cancer to this bill, just DO IT!!! Pround wife of one of New Yorks Finest.
