Why not forgive part or all of loans based on GPA at time of graduation? The APR on student loans is ridiculous and only making banks money. Why should banks get to borrow money from the FED for less than 1% and turn around and charge students 6% and higher? Bank CEO's will still make plenty of money charging 2% on a student loan. America's workforce needs specific specialties of workers. Loan forgiveness will attract much needed workers and give incentive to people to get educated.
