code CMS-1910-P2 I am .very concerned re: the new proposed guidelines for rural health clinics. Our patients travel from very rural areas/underserved medical areas to seek services with us. The HPSA guideline should be looked at for the population served, not necessarily where the clinic is located. Recruitment of health professionals to rural areas is very difficult; and setting up healtcare sites in a rural area is very expensive.
