Why did you change section G back to the two column system. There is a way to make the new one work for the payment system. give a lower point if they are limited in bed mobilty and limit or extensive in transfers. Give higher points if extensive or total in bed and extensive and total in transfers. We all know a person may need more help with transfers, but not as much with bed mobility. They would usually have a B in the ADL count. The ones that are extensive in bed mobility and transfers are the one that needed more help and would be the C in adl count. WE all wanted the new form of section G for it was going to make it over all better for staff to code correctly and stop all the quessing and counting and did everyone count correctly stuff. And make assessment easier for all and more accurate. Please you all are very smart, you can find a way to make the new part of section G work, and get rid of the BIGGEST PROBLEM we have with the 2.0 MDS system. thank you for your time and please reconsider. sincerely, Tammy Spears.
