I am writing this letter as it pertains to the CMS-1538-P proposal. As a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist I feel that this ruling would be a great loss for patients in the rehab setting. Recreation Therapy is a vital part of patient care as it it an important element in the overall care of the patient and his/her well being. This ruling could jeapordize patient care and and damage the credibility of professionals like myself who have worked hard in the health care field to help improve the lives of those in treatment.
