I'm the mother of a disable tennager who was born wiht a disease call ARTHROGRYPOSIS,if you look at my son you will think he paraplegic but that is not his case, simply he has no mobility on his arms or legs and he is weelcahir bound he need help doing every task posibly from eating to going to the bathroom necesities geting dress having someone wirht for him, mobility by somelse, in other words he is not capable of doing anithyng by him self, but he is a very smart younman and this is what had prevented him from geting medicaid waiver, I'm a single mom wiht no help from any family menber, at the moment I'm 59 years old and can not provide all the services my son needs, wild there are other, patients wiht a different dignosis that quilifieds for the waiver my son does not!!, but yet we need more help than a patient wiht down syndrome or autisim, but because his disability is phisical not mentaly he is been denied the waiver, even do we need this very desperly, so please do this changer so that my son will be able to quilified for the sevices he desprely need, and deserve!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
