The proposed rule requiring ambulance services to indicate to the nearest tenth of a mile the distance for transports is overbroad, would create undue hardship on ambulance providers, and is impossible to verify or enforce. A mistake by an employee could result in punitive action against a provider. The ambulance industry is already overburdened and underfunded.
