I would like to comment on the cuts for diabetic patients. I understand they are referred to as outlier patients. My understanding is that agencies are limited to 10% for these type patients. My father had a nurse administering his insulin and she had to stop coming. He then had to be hospitalized and I hoped they could help him after his discharge, but they stated they could not. What is my father supporse to do? He does not want to keep going to the hospital. Why is Texas limited to the same 10% when clearly Texas has more diabetic patients than say New York. This system seems severly flawed.
