Between cuts to the outlier patients (patients that need insulin and or wound care), cuts to case mix and the extensive paper work requirements, there will not be any Home Health care. In addition we have CAHPS which is costly and also the scrutiny of RAC, ZPICS and PSCS. This is government at its worst. What about taking care of the elderly that have paid into the Medicare system their entire lives. It appears the only answer for their care is very expensive emergency room visits and hospital stays. This is more costly and it is not where the elderly prefer to receive their care. Please consider the elderly within your own families.
