Medicaid Program: Request for Comments on Legislative Changes to Provide Quality of Care to Children

Dental care is needed as part of any preventive program, especially for children. Most dentists do not accept midicaid patients unless they can pay for the services. Therefore, too many children have multiple cavaties and preventable dental problems througout their childhoods and beyond. Our small community recently started a program that is funded by donations and dentists and hygienists donate their time. The need for dental care is great.
