Put an end to routine infant male circumcision. New research indicates that circumcision does not prevent the transmission of HIV and other STDs and the surgical removal of healthy and FUNCTIONAL tissue from a non-consenting minor is immoral. Infant girls are spared circumcision thanks to a ban on female genital cutting in the late 90s. A great deal of money could be saved by broadening that ban to include infant males.
