The new proposals for hardship would greatly help our orthopedic surgical practice. A cut of 1% would significantly hurt our group. Especially since its a cut towards the entire fee schedule and not just the denominator codes. Our group does not prescribe large amounts of medications. Most of what we do prescribe is narcotics for post-op patients. Therefore, not counted towards the requirement.
