The only concern I have for CMHCs becoming a part of CMS, is that they may be scrutinized as hospitals were in the 1990s regarding PHPs for psychiatric patients - to the point that they basically were all closed down across the State. This service can be life or death for some folks and I would hate to see them forced to close.
