The cuts that are again proposed, now for multiple years in a row, are not only unfair for work provided, but also will limit care to patients. the assumption that work is reduced when patients have multiple scans in one day and that each scan becomes easier to read is silly. each separate body part requires its own dedicated time and professional interpretation. if we continue on the pace that CMS has set over the past 2 years in imaging cuts, insurance acceptance by imagers wll be gone, imaging will all be interpreted by overseas doctors without US liability or standards, and medicine as a practice will continue to be desimated. Again, a mammogram that diagnoses breast cancer pays a physician 10$ or less and a subway sandwich a chips and soda are about the same. what have we done with our system. targe the right things guys. wake up
