Radiologists are board certified physician with 5 or more years of training in diagnostic imaging and image guided procedures. I consider each diagnostic radiology case as a consultation that is unique for that patient, clinical situation, and time. To bundle same day imaging for patients into one service is a blatent disregard for the services provided. Each imaging study is unique and should be reimbursed as such. Sincerely, Darren R. Hurst M.
