I endorse the revision that would use NFPA 101 (Life Safety Code) 2012 edition. This change, if adopted, would simplify what hospitals must do to comply with both CMS and State/local AHJ's. The Code has been revised and improved three (soon to be 4) times since the currently referenced 2000 edition was published.
