FACT: The deadline for ICD-10 codes has been changed multiple times CMS wants to know if providers are ready? I want to know if CMS is ready? Did reimbursement for the addition of more codes go up!! CMS Education and Train providers for new codes Medicare A Providers and Physicians Scheduled Training Dates Medicare B , Providers and Physicians " " " " AHIMA Soft ware of new codes HHS need to do their part helping physicians transition Mandatory Representation of Health Care Staff of all Medicare Providers Education Schedule Training Schedule Local Health Care Consultants Contracts to help with the transition FACT ICD-9 had 14,000 codes ICD-10 68,000 codes CMS R-290 OCN0938-0776 A Health Care Consultant from every provider area needs to be paid by CMS to make the transition successful. Health Care providers are busy and to help them with this transition would be the wise thing to do to help providers maximize reimbursement, and avoid a financial crisis.
