As a newly wed, planning for the future is important. Having a first baby in life is a huge commitment, and takes lots of thought and planning. An infant can not be supervised 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. During the early years, the infant will spend a lot of time in a crib. It is critical for the consumer to know that the crib will be safe for their new born. Also, if the child is at day care, the parents will want to know that the equipment used meets all safety standards. If there is failure with the equipment, the child is not capable of handling themself. They have no knowledge or mobility to stay safe. Therefore, if the safety standards for full-size cribs and non-full-size cribs are up to par, then consumers will know that their child can be safe with this equipment.
