The Poison Prevention Act should continue to enforce child-resistant measures to be taken on the powder form of Welchol and Selvelamer carbonate. Even if one child dies from overdose or complications due to ingesting this drug that is one too many. The manufacturers underestimate the capability and inginuity of children. If they think there is something they shouldn't get into, children will make every effort to do that. Manufactuers should make every effort to prevent this from happening, not be consumed in saving money at the expense of a child.
