Table Saw Blade Contact Injuries

This is an example of a mandate that is not needed. Anyone who properly uses the existing guards on table saws will not have a problem with remaining safe. Flesh sensing technology is available as a supplemental options for those who wish to use it, but it is very expensive and would significantly impact the entire universe of saw users if it were mandatory. Also, I read the letter that claimed many manufacturers had or would have this technology, but I've only seen one. Let's leave this as a marketplace decision. The existing safety guards work as they should and will protect those who do not bypass them.
