We have serious concerns about the proposed regulations as well as the direction of this proposed legislation. As a small business owner and a designer and distributor of children's products, these new proposed rules would have a disastrous effect on our operations and costs. This level of "minutiae" being forced upon us by legal necessity could potentially sink us and we have been in business for 19 years. This is political risk at it's finest. Clearly, there are ways to ensure safety for children and consumers with this level of "over-compliance". This would simply weed out all small companies from ever having a chance of success and would hurt the industry immensely. Please feel free to contact me for any questions or concerns. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do the right thing here and DO NOT OVER-REGULATE! Thanks.
