Requests for Ban or Standard on Adult Portable Bed Rails

155 deaths in 10 years out of how many total deaths, with 99% of these occurring in the home. Many people especially in care facilities and hospitals have been kept from serious injury and death because they had these bed rails in place. Many facilities now use 1/2 rails for those individuals that can assist themselves so full bedrails have for the most part been eliminated except for home use.
