Dear Sir or Madame: I am pleased to respond to your DFARS Case related to the 14 day period for paying contractors under cost-type contracts. In that regard, I can only say this: Increasing the DoD payment period from 14 days to 30 days would be most harmful to small business contractors. Cash flow is so important to these contractors and increasing the payment period to 30 days would harm their cash flow significantly. Thank you for this opportunity to comment.
