F301(b)(18) - The pricing on the contracts/mods is very fluid and changes frequently compared to the D250s/Receiving Reports. Since the DD250/Receiving report is no longer the billing/invoicing document the price on the DD/Receiving Report is not always the price used to invoice (unit prices can be different, i.e. 13 units does not go into $14,000 evenly). As a result, the unit prices can be off sometimes as little as .20 and the Receiving Report will not be accepted by DCMA. Also, even though an estimated price can be done in the descripton fields, DCMA expects to see it in the price field. WAWF does not accept that, nor do most other systems. However, the new DFAR still talks about using estimated pricing. Also, the new DFAR does not address the electronic aspect of WAWF and billing.
