If Tapendatol has the same effect such as morphine and oxycodone it most
certainly should be placed on Schedule II. Although the drug is new, research has
already proven the harmful effects it could have on someone abusing it or just
taking a recommended dose. There is no reason for another addictive and life
damaging drug to be out on the market and with easy availability.By placing
Tapendatol on Schedule II it is the first
precautionary step to protecting lives. If Tapendatol has similair physcial and
psychological effects of morphine then it just makes sense to put Tapendatol on
schedule II. I have seen the effects of morphine personally on a sick relative of
mine, it was used as a last result to help dull the severe pain she was going
through, but the psychological effects were not worth enduring. Tapendatol must
go on schedule II and only be used as a final resort.
