Dear DEA: Our country is faced with an obesity epidemic currently in full swing with limited means for physicians to fight this epidemic. Delay is costing lives and billions in costs to address obesity related illnesses. Lorcaserin (Belviq) is the first single agent in history that provides physicians a tool to control this growing danger to our society. Please waive this silly waiting/notice period and make the rule effective immediately! Thank you, in advance, for your attention to this very serious matter.
