I am very concerned about the potential for abuse under this proposal, and its sister document, DHS-2007-0049. With the collection of data being unavailable under FOIA, the potential for error and abuse is enormous. This documentation is allegedly only concerning non-citizens, but what if one of the folks whose information is stored in this system becomes a citizen? What kind of abuses can occur *then*? Really, this is the same kind of system employed by the Stasi and the KGB. I think all citizens should be concerned.
