To whom this may concern. My name is gary and I am a part-time farmer in missouri. I am writing in regards to the proposed ammonium nitrate regulations I have read about in the local paper. I think that sometimes we need to quit making laws and enforce the ones we have. Everyday I read the paper and there is a trial and someone is found guilty and what do we do we fine them and put them back on the street and a day, a month, a year that person is more than likley back doing the same crap he/she was doing before. I think that if there was more severe actions taken against them we would not be in some of the problems we are all in. Why does the government always put new laws, requirements, on the common people. We are the people that are out working everyday trying to make this a better country, not you hot shots in washington. Us HONEST americans are always getting pealilized for being productive. With this proposed law us honest hardworking folks are probably going to have to pay a fee to be registered for buying this ammonium nitrate. On more hoop to jump, one more dollar out of our profit. Were does it end? Lets face it the next you catch someone with AN intending to do harm have a trial and if found guilty Hang em in the street. That might get someone elses attention and they might think twice before they plan something. All the laws in the world won't stop people inless you inforce the ones we already have. gary
