I wanted to say that I support any initiative that supports interagency sharing of information, and that also assists in protecting our country from dangerous individuals or groups. the government has vast resources available to them, and the usage of it to thoroughly review individuals applying for benefits or citizenship is a worthy cause. If information is uncovered via a classified investigation, I believe that information should not be required to be published, until the investigation is completed and any action to be taken by the law enforcement or counterterrorism agency has been done.
Protection of personal freedoms and rights are important, but protecting the greater population should take precedence when reviewing non citizen's backgrounds. I support and endorse this rule change.
