PART 2: The Department and Homeland Security and the Bureau of Customs and Border Protection should each provide the following information, for their respective agency, with regards to this intelligence and law enforcement project. For each of Department and Homeland Security and the Bureau of Customs and Border Protection please provide: The total capital cost of purchasing, contracting, and creating this intelligence and law enforcement system, the initial investment in the first year and the total investment for the first five years. The total annual maintenance and updating cost of operating this intelligence and law enforcement system (per year). The length of time this system is expected to operate before it must be replaced with new upgraded technologies. The expected results that will be generated from this intelligence and law enforcement system that will be permitted to be released to the public. If applicable, a statement making clear that the Department of Homeland Security expects all of the expected results generated from this intelligence and law enforcement system will not be permitted to be disclosed to the public. A statement naming the Congressional oversight committees that will be afforded uninhibited access to information concerning this intelligence and law enforcement system. This information is part of planning any project and is critical information for taxpayers.
