The DoD should offer alternative small dollar credit options. An ideal mechanism for doing so would be by leveraging one of the many family-oriented DoD portals such as Military OneSource, MyArmyLifeToo, Navy Fleet and Family Support or Air Force Crossroads, where low-interest, small dollar credit can be offered to military families and repaid via payroll deduction. DefenseWeb has the experience, the means, and the partnerships to help the DoD implement such a solution.
