TRICARE; Reimbursement of Critical Access Hospitals (CAHs)

This is a significant improvement. We do note that the proposal says reimbursement could be lower of rate or billed charges. Not a problem with outpatient, since payment is a percent of charges, but on inpatient it is possible that charges could be less than the interim rate. Medicare does not have “lower of” language.
