The U.S. Military should NEVER be used for law enforcement inside the United
States except as necessary to "repel invasions" and "to protect each of them (the
States) against invasion" (Article I, Section 4) such as the current one over our
southern border. For "suppressing insurrections", that should be subject ONLY to
request by State authorities "on application of the Legislature, or of the Executive"
(Article IV, Section 4) in accordance with: "The powers NOT DELEGATED to the
United States by this Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved
to the States respectively, or to the people. (10th Amendment)
