To Whom it May Concern,
We are concerned about the potential misuse of power this proposal will provide.
Our National Guard has proven adequate in the past in helping Civil Authorities
during times of domestic crisis. Response can be acheived by continuing to
maintain control at the state level.
We are very concerned about the "special events" and "other domestic activities"
provision in this proposal. These proposed rules provide for activation of the U.S.
military in domestic situations which is not found in our nation's governing
document, the constitution.
We strongly oppose the implementation of this rule because it is unneccessary
and unconstitutional.
Thank you for your consideration,
Paul and Tamara Neils
