I fully support this initiative to facilitate TRICARE beneficiaries receiving covered vaccines in the most expeditious and cost effective manner. The vaccine to protect against Shingles (Zostavax) should be included as well. This vaccine is readily available at TRICARE Network Pharmacies but they are not authorized to provide this vaccine to TRICARE beneficiaries and most physicians do not stock this short shelf life vaccine making it very difficult for TRICARE beneficiaries to receive this protection without very substantial out-of-pocket expense.
