I am in full support of this proposed rule for multiple reasons. First and foremost, with the controversy surrounding the Health Care Bill that Congress has just passed, we are having enough trouble figuring out how to make health care accessible to all American citizens and the illegal aliens who use the American health system- there is no need to try and figure out how to provide free services to foreign military officials on top of that. Secondly, it is a common opinion that the United States has some of the best hospitals and medical care providers in the world, and many people from foreign counties come here to receive treatment. It is not right for foreign military officials and diplomats to take advantage of their elevated status and try and get medical care for free when so many others must pay for it.
