I would like to comment on the notification process of extending the comment period for this issue. Unless a person was on this site, he/she would not be aware of the extension. I feel it should be announced (via news release) as the first comment period was back in Sept. The only way I found out was by calling the POC listed in the first annoucement to follow up on progress of implementing some of the comments that had already been received. This is an important, and in some cases, military career changing reality that should be addressed accordingly. Thanks for your consideration.
