I am writing to express my opinion that the proposed changes to NAGPRA should not be adopted. I would like to echo the sentiments expressed by the Society for American Archeology. Not only does the DOI lack jurisdiction to enact the proposed rule change, it goes against the original intent of NAGPRA. -Rhett Felix Register of Professional Archaeologists M.S. in Anthropology
