I am writing regarding the proposed change to
? 75.8 Location of the statement.

(d) A computer site or service or Web
address containing a digitally- or
computer-manipulated image, digital
image, or picture, shall contain the
required statement on every page of a
Web site on which a visual depiction of
an actual human being engaged in
actual sexually explicit conduct
appears.

For home-based businesses, this would require the name of the custodian of
records and the home address in 12-point type on every web page with covered
sexually-explicit content. This is an excessive amount of exposure of names and
home addresses which could lead to harassment by public web page users who just
happen to notice the name and address in the statement.
I'd rather see the regulation allow a 2257 link on every web page with covered
sexually-explicit content. This will limit the exposure of name and home
addresses to those seriously looking for the records information.
2257 (e) (1) allows you to do this:
Any person to whom subsection (a) applies shall cause to be affixed to every
copy of any matter described in paragraph (1) of subsection (a) of this section,
in such manner and in such form as the Attorney General shall by regulations
prescribe, a statement describing where the records required by this section
with respect to all performers depicted in that copy of the matter may be
located. In this paragraph, the term ?copy? includes every page of a website on
which matter described in subsection (a) appears.
Having a link on the web page is affixing it to the copy of the web page.
I propose that you change the rule to:
? 75.8 Location of the statement.

(d) A computer site or service or Web
address containing a digitally- or
computer-manipulated image, digital
image, or picture, shall contain the
required statement or a clickable hypertext link ?18 U.S.C. 2257 Record-Keeping
Requirements Compliance Statement? to the statement
on every page of a
Web site on which a visual depiction of
an actual human being engaged in
actual sexually explicit conduct
appears.
Thanks for your consideration.
