Our County leaders have committed to invest resources to upgrade our 911 technology so that we are "capable" of receiving data centric 911 requests for service. It is imperative that a national comprehensive mindset and plan with the appropriate funding be followed for all sections of this intricate system. From PSAP's to wireless corporations and local exchange carriers, all must accept the reality that this is necessary and work together to bring equality in 911 access to all citizens.
