I believe that all movie theaters should be required to have movie captioning as well as be required to make sure the equipment is functioning and that all staff know how to operate the equipment. The opportunity to share the experience with other family members of watching a movie together should not be denied for the thousands of people with a hearing and/or visual deficit. Watching movies together with friends and family has been a simple, fun American tradition for decades and no one should be excluded or denied.
