The proposed rule regarding pre filing credit counseling would be onerous to debtors, and would do nothing more than increase the cost to debtors wanting to file bankruptcy. The present pre filing credit counseling is a joke as it is, and adding the time requirement of an hour would make this requirement more of a joke.
