I feel as though exempting information from public knowledge will skew the integrity of the information we are allowed to receive. As provided in the Privacy Act, we must have permission to access such records from the person we are trying to receive information on and exempting certain records from the department-wide record keeping program that is proposed to take effect will defeat the purpose of "record-keeping".
