Privacy Act; Implementation (Document ID DOJ-OPCL-2012-0019-0001)
`
"the Privacy Act : Implentation...the FBI proposes to exempt this ...from certain provisions of
the Privacy Act in order to avoid interference with the national security and criminal law
enforcement functions and responsibilities of the FBI."
in my opinion, the legality of what the FBI is proposing is it is at its best--ILLEGAL!! it is
inherently WRONG to allow law enforcement too much power and quite frankly SCREAMS civil
rights' violations. if the FBI & law enforcement is granted exemption of due process, then i
forsee a BLEEK future for law-abiding citizens, not to mention, every court at every level will be
bombarded with lawsuits against city/county/state officials & law enforcement agencies!!
what's happening to this country that not even our constitution can protect us from cruel and
unusual punishment? don't you see?
WHAT NATIONAL SECURITY???!! are you freaking kidding me? there is absolutely too much TV
being watched because FBI is using NATIONAL SECURITY as a ploy to ABUSE their
UNAUTHORIZED AUTHORITY.
"give them too much rope and they'll hang themselves!" my gramma always said. and she's
right. i've tested it in uncontrolled and controlled environments. the outcome is always the
same...
there's a growing concern within our communities-NATIONWIDE-that EVEN WITHOUT this Act's
implementation --local law enforcement already oversteps their boundaries and abuses police
power!!
PLEASE DO NOT GIVE LAW ENFORCEMENT ANY MORE CRUEL AND UNUSUAL WAYS TO PUNISH
US??!! we're already suffering and enduring unimaginable atrocities as it is. from a mother and
a grandmother's perspective, please have mercy on the less fortunate. give us a chance to lead
uneventful lives. please..
