Passports

I support a passport card for travel into Canada and Mexico that is significantly cheaper than a U.S. Passport. For our family of 6 it would be close to $600 additional to get everyone a passport. Since we live in California we can easily drive into Mexico and Canada on a small scale family car vacation. If we had to get everyone a passport, we would not go to either location. I would hope that the card would also be valid for several years, like the passport.
